"Israeli" Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman promised on Sunday that "Israel" would not apologize to Turkey for a deadly commando raid on a Gaza-bound aid ship that killed nine Turkish activists.

Speaking in Al Quds (Jerusalem) at a meeting of "Israel's" ambassadors, Lieberman said "the ones who have to apologize are the government of Turkey for supporting terror," adding "there will be no apology" from "Israel".

Relations between Turkey and "Israel" have frayed almost to breaking point in the past year over "Israel's" May 31 raid on a flotilla of aid ships seeking to break the blockade of the Gaza Strip.

Also, "Israel's" foreign minister ruled out a comprehensive agreement with Palestinians as "impossible" and "forbidden."

Labeling the Palestinian Authority (PA) as illegitimate, Lieberman urged that instead of a full peace deal, Tel Aviv seek a long-term, interim agreement on security and economic matters.
