At least 45 people have been killed after two car bombs were detonated in the central Iraqi city of Karbala.
At least 45 people have been killed after two car bombs were detonated in the central Iraqi city of Karbala.
According to AFP, the blasts, which hit the outskirts of the holy Shia city on Thursday, injured at least 150 others.
The attacks took place within 20 minutes of each other.
Earlier in the day, another explosive-laden vehicle was blown up in the eastern city of Diyala, killing two policemen and a female journalist and wounding 30 others.
