As the situation in Egypt has been only escalating, different countries worldwide witness numerous scales of support for the Egyptian people.

The beginning was with the Tunisian revolution, which led to their "dictator" President's departure, and then protests in Egypt followed, demanding their aging government to resign giving the Egyptians some "freedom" to live in.

The Egyptian "Friday of Rage" met great support by the peoples of the globe, regionally and internationally.

Mauritania raised its voice high in support for the Egyptian people, where a couple of hundred Mauritanians assembled in a protest outside the Egyptian Embassy in Nouakchott.

The protesters sang slogans supporting the Egyptian uprising and demanded that President Husni Mubarak surrenders and gives the rule to the people.

The Mauritanians also condemned the violence practiced by the Egyptian police against the protesters, urging the international community and all countries to support the Egyptian people.

On the other hand, at least three Canadian cities organized protests in support for the Egyptian people's uprising against Mubarak's regime.

According to the Canadian Press, Hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside the Egyptian consulate in Montreal and the Egyptian embassy in Ottawa on Friday afternoon.
On its part, Toronto will hold a family-friendly rally in its Dundas Square on Saturday, organized by Ahmed Khalife, who expressed his amazement that so many people are coming in support of the protests in Egypt and the other Middle East countries.

Furthermore, the Michigan Daily reported that the University of Michigan's Diag, a large open space in the university's central campus, witnessed a protest on Friday afternoon, to denounce the Egyptian President Husni Mubarak's regime.

The daily mentioned that "the protest on campus came in reports of civil unrest in Egypt over the past few days". The Diag protest included representatives from several student organizations in the university, including the Egyptian Students Association.

As it has always showed support to the oppressed people in the Middle East, Iran will witness on Saturday protests organized by student in support of the Egyptian people, especially the youth.

The Iranian protests will assemble throughout the Iranian capital of Tehran, heading towards the Egyptian Interests Section to denounce the police's violent practices against the Egyptian protesters in Cairo, Alexandria, and the other Egyptian regions taking part in the uprising.

The uprising is still spreading all over the region, where the Tunisia Jasmine Revolt, the Egyptian rage, the Yemeni protests, and other contagious effects, resulted in what international newspapers are calling, "The Middle East Uprising".
