A Thousand Housing Units to be Reconstructed in Gaza Strip

The Palestinian Government in Gaza announced it has been able to gather funds to build 1000 housing units in the besieged Gaza Strip.

This comes as a first step into reconstructing what has been demolished during the 2008-2009 "Israeli" war on Gaza.

Gaza's Minister of Public Works and Housing, Youssef Al Mansi confirmed that the reconstruction of what the "Israeli" occupation has demolished during the war is considered to be of the files exploited by the enemy to pressure the Palestinian people and government, precisely in the Gaza strip.

Al Mansi clarified that the enemy, along with some regional countries and the cooperation of the international quartet, focused on blockading Gaza, so that no elements and kits for reconstruction would arrive in the impoverished area.

The "Israeli" enemy has been forcing a blockade on the Gaza Strip, not allowing any aids into the territories, including daily life needs and reconstruction kits.
