Local Editor
Iranian cleric Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati condemned the latest sedition movement in Iran, which attempted to deceive the public opinion, calling for the isolation of its leaders.
According to IRNA news agency, Ayatollah Jannati said during his Friday preach in Tehran, "What the judiciary can do is to cut off the leaders of the sedition movement from the outside world and put them under house arrest".
In this context, the ayatollah Ahmad Jannati also urged the judicial authorities to put restrictions on the sedition figures, clarifying through denying them access to telephone and internet to stop any form of contact with people.
Iranian cleric also denounced the sedition leaders' exploitation of the Egyptian revolution, referring to it as a pretext to erupt anti-government protests.
"Everyone knows that this act of the seditionists is dishonest, hypocritical and deceitful", he stated.
Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati addressed the sedition leaders saying, "While people voiced their support for the Egyptians on February 11, you try to take a few into streets, make a fuss and get some people killed".
