Hamas: Vetoing UN Conviction on Settlement Activities Reveals US Bias to Zionist Entity
Local Editor
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas strictly condemned the UN veto against the Arab draft resolution presented Friday night to the UN Security Council, as an attempt to convict the Zionist settlement activities in the Palestinian occupied territories.
On behalf of the Hamas movement, Ismail Ridwan stated that this step is considered to be a new proof on Washington's bias stance with the Zionist entity, adding this also represents a slap in the face of the Palestinian Authority which has always wagered on the US.
In the UNSC council meeting, 14 out of the 15 UNSC member states voted in favor for the filed conviction, while the US chose to veto this Arab draft resolution, claiming that the only way through this issue is negotiations.
