Jalili: US, Biggest Supporter of Tyrannical Regimes, Awakening Wave Now Sweeping Across Globe
Local Editor
Head of Iranian Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Saeed Jalili, referred to the United Stated as the biggest supporter of the tyrannical regimes in the Middle East and Latin America.
The Iranian official added that the current regional popular uprisings against their regime represent a "heavy blow to the US and its policies".
"Washington cannot hide its decades-long support for such dictator and coercion against the nations through hypocrisy", Jalili stated in a meeting with Fernando Cordero, President of National Assembly of Ecuador.
Saeed Jalili also affirmed that the US "is bogged down in a dilemma of its own creation, as it supported the dictators of the world", adding that now, the US cannot escape the awakening wave sweeping throughout the world against it.
On his part, President of Ecuador said that Latin America has been a victim of capitalism, leading the controlled countries into poverty and misery, in both Latin America and the Middle East.
