Saiful Islam Gaddafi Claims No Bombarding, Killing Took Place against Protesters in Libya
Local Editor
Libyan President Moammar Gaddafi's son, Saiful Islam Gaddafi accused Egypt, and other Arab countries which he didn't name, of conspiring against Libya, claiming that those conspiring are not Libyans, but are from other Arab countries.
Gaddafi further claimed that there were no victims in the clashes between anti-regime protesters and the security forces, adding that there was no targeting of populated residential territories.
In an interview with the Libyan Television on Thursday, Saiful Islam said that this is a media battle, adding that all what has been broadcasted on the "ridiculous" TV and radio channels are lies.
The Libyan President's son also stated that that aerial bombarding that took place targeted
weapon storages in isolated locations in the desert and not populated areas.
Saiful Islam Gaddafi addressed reporters and diplomatic figures that will be going to Libya on Friday to investigate the situation, challenging them to prove if they can where is the "claimed bombarding", and where the killed people are.
