Salim El Hoss: International Community Should Interfere to Stop Massacres Committed Against Innocents in Libya
Local Editor
Head of the Arab Organization for Combating Corruption, former Lebanese PM Salim El Hoss expressed sorrow for the ugly oppressing and brutal practices against the Arab nations by their own leaders.
El Hoss stated that these nations are protesting demanding their legal right to life, in addition to the end of tyranny, corruption and oppression regimes in different Arab countries.
He denounced the brutal massacres conducted in the Arab countries, especially in Libya, and in Bahrain, Yemen and other uprising countries.
According to a statement issued today by the Arab Organization for Combating Corruption, former PM El Hoss added that committing these massacres, and insisting on them against unarmed people is a total foolishness and unawareness of all human right values and laws.
Furthermore, El Hoss considered that triggering sectarian, ethnic and tribal incitements by some Arab countries is included in the political corruption in all its images that tend to weaken the social interaction and civil peace.
He urged the peoples and civil institutions in the Arab world to refuse all sectarian and factorial conflicts, and should rather seek civilized logic, denouncing the silent stance of the western countries regarding the massacres against the Libyan people.
Salim El Hoss called upon the UN and the Security Council to take action in prosecuting the criminals committing crimes against the Libyan civilians.
El Hoss urged the international community to form an investigating committee including neutral political, security, judicial, media, humanitarian figures from Arab and global countries to conduct the field investigations to all what is occurring on the Libyan territories.
He added that this committee should look in the breaches of all and massacres committed against unarmed innocent civilians to stop them, and specify the sides responsible of these crimes.
Former Lebanese PM stated that the Arab nations deserve to live in a just and democratic reign that would restore their humanitarian, cultural, civilization contributions.
