The Algerian army deployed more than 7 thousand soldiers on their country's borders with Libya, in order to prevent any arms smuggling from Libyan military sites or camps.

In this context, "AL Khabar" Algerian newspaper reported on Sunday, that deploying more troops comes in accordance with a new security plan organized by the Algerian military, to promote the operation of monitoring the borders with Libya.

The daily added that the plan includes an aerial monitoring for the desert western the cities present in the south west territories in the Libyan Jamahiriya.

"Al Khabar" newspaper added that implementing the new plan began after security warning that a group of weapons and ammunition are being smuggled. The weapons were also said to be distributed in Libya within the recent days.
