Amal Movement: Hizbullah-Amal Alliance Tight, Supports Resistance Legitimacy

The Amal Movement issued a statement saluting Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's stances and highlighting the strength of the party's alliance with Hizbullah.

"The Amal Movement is Hizbullah's partner... and Amal Movement leader Nabih Berri is and was a partner in running the resistance against "Israel's" war on Lebanon in 2006," said the statement issued following the party's Tuesday meeting headed by Berri.

The statement also said that the stability of the Syrian regime is an Arab and Lebanese necessity, and also voiced hope that the Arab people will achieve their goals of democracy and good governance.

The statement further assured that relations between the two parties are tight, which supports the legitimacy of the resistance and assures the necessity that the resistance be a national deterrence power alongside with our courageous Lebanese army in face of any "Israeli" aggressions.
