Kuwaiti Businessman Nasser Mohammad Al Kharafi died Sunday dawn in Al Salam international hospital in Cairo due to a heart attack, according to the Egyptian Middle East Agency.

The agency reported, according to an official in the Kharafi Kuwaiti group in Cairo, that Nasser Al Kharafi suffered from a severe heart attack Saturday night and was then moved to the hospital where he died Sunday dawn.

Al Kharafi was well known for his stances in supporting the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine, in addition to the great respect and honor he expressed for to Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
In an article published for Nasser Al Kharafi in Al Rai Kuwaiti newspaper on 12 April 2011, the deceased Kuwaiti businessman praised Sayyed Nasrallah's latest speech, in which His Eminence thanked Al Kharafi for his position in supporting the resistance.

In his article, he addressed Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah saying, "When I praised your stances and heroic role, I was not expecting any thanks or praising back, for that is the least of what we could do for the resistance fighters who confront the nation's enemy night and day. Your gratitude to me has heartened me and left an impact in my soul, and I consider it a medal on my chest for as long as I am alive".
