President Suleiman: Lebanon Distinguished by Democratic Transfer of Power

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman said that "what distinguishes the Lebanon-based system is the democratic transfer of power in addition to faith in human values and cultural diversity."
During his meeting with a delegation of Brazilian youth from Lebanese descent, Suleiman stressed that "the privileges Lebanon enjoys in its surrounding, forms an incentive for expatriates and people to enhance their communication with their motherland," pointing out that "their ancestors migrated abroad to escape persecution and to seek freedom that Lebanon paid an expensive price to get and enjoy it.
