The 1st meeting of the new government's council will form a first station in approaching many files politically headed by maritime borders in the light of "Israel's" efforts impose a new reality.

Seeking international recognition that authorizes the Zionist entity to violate Lebanon's economic maritime borders and thus robbing its right of oil and gas wealth, Lebanon is preparing to a new diplomatic and political oil war.

"We have been witnessing an absolute and full responsibility, and we are developing a comprehensive national plan to confront the "Israeli" aggression on Lebanon's rights, this plan is to be presented to the Council of Ministers to take appropriate decision in the matter," Mansour stressed.

For his part, Minister Bassil called for government action at the international level to demarcate Lebanon's maritime borders. "Lebanon is required today to work in several directions, firstly toward the United Nations and launch a wide-scale diplomatic campaign, and secondly toward Cyprus in order to make it redraw its maritime border," Bassil said Tuesday.

He emphasized that "Lebanon has the right to use the appropriate means to obtain its water rights and oil wealth."
In the same context, Hizbullah and Jamaa al-Islamiya group issued a joint statement on Tuesday calling for "national unity in order to be able to confront "Israeli" assaults."

"Taking action to confront the new Zionist assault, which was most recently manifested in the maritime border demarcation issue, is a must," the statement said following a meeting between Hizbullah and Jamaa al-Islamiya officials.
In parallel, "al-Binaa" Lebanese daily quoted a ministerial source as saying "what is said about the dispute over the Directorate General of Public Security is just media leaks from "March 14" team to confuse the launch of the government," stressing that things were going on a regular basis, and that the government will work as one team.

Aoun: ISF Illegal

"Change and Reform Bloc" leader MP Michel Aoun stated on Tuesday that Wissam al-Hassan's position at the head of the Internal Security Forces Intelligence Bureau is a violation of the ISF laws seeing as there is no such thing as the Intelligence Bureau.

After the bloc's weekly meeting, Aoun stressed that: "this is a branch that does not exist on the legal level and its violations were covered up by the former prime minister."

"Hassan's actions will be revealed when the false witnesses file in the investigation into the assassination of former PM Rafik Hariri is addressed," Aoun added.

Denying rumors that he disputed with House Speaker Nabih Berri on the matter of appointing an Army Commander, Aoun confirmed that no one approached him with this issue.
"Disputes will not erupt among the new majority," he stressed.

Addressing the "March 14" camp's statements that it will topple the government, Aoun replied "Regaining something is harder than defending it."
Meanwhile, talks about dispute between Future Movement and the Lebanese Republic Mufti rose to the surface. "The jar refraction between the Mufti and the Future Movement got after Prime Minister Fouad Siniora called on the Council of Mufti's for a meeting to pull the Sunni rug from under Mikati during the confidence sessions. However, the Mufti didn't invite to this meeting because of the council's summer vacation," "al-Akhbar" Lebanese daily revealed.

Hariri Admits, Vows to Topple Gov't

From outside the Lebanese borders, particularly from the French Capital Paris, former Prime Minister Saad Hariri launched a verbal attack on Hizbullah and Prime Minister Najib Mikati, whom he described as "Hizbullah's surrogate," vowing to "topple his government through a strong opposition by "March 14"."
Blaming Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah for the toppling of his government, Hariri claimed that Hizbullah's rejection of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) will not stop its work.

"The decision to topple Saad Hariri was taken by Sayyed Nasrallah and President al-Assad," Hariri claimed.
In his interview with MTV, Hariri said "nothing will be changed in the indictment even if Hizbullah's Secretary General holds 300 press conferences."
A high-ranking source in majority said that "they agree with former PM Saad Hariri that it won't be able to change anything in the indictment issued by the tribunal."
Majority sources told "as- Safir" that "experience in the past six years showed that the U.S. and "Israel" are capable of changing the STL for Lebanon's accusations."

"The STL mentioned individuals, but Sayyed Nasrallah threw his support behind those individuals. We only want justice through this international tribunal," Hariri said.
Warning that Lebanon's non-cooperation with the tribunal puts the country in danger," Hariri couldn't deny what Sayyed Nasrallah has declared concerning Hariri's approval on the Saudi-Syrian initiative.
"I was clear regarding reconciliation and forgiveness, but some people think that they are bigger than Lebanon," Hariri admitted.
"When I said that I was betrayed, I was honestly referring to (Finance Minister Mohammed) Safadi and PM Mikati, and actually Lebanon was the one betrayed," Hariri added.

Cassese: Indictment A Critical Moment

Commenting on the STL, President of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon Antonio Cassese said that the release of the indictment along with the arrest warrants in is a critical moment for Lebanon and the region.
"This is a decisive moment for the Lebanese, their state and for international justice. It is also a decisive moment for the region," Cassese said in an opinion article published Wednesday in The New York Times.

"I wish to remind the government of Lebanon of its international obligations, which are unambiguous... Justice can only be achieved through the assistance of the relevant domestic authorities," the man well known to his support to "Israel" said.

Regarding the same issue Prosecutor General Saeed Mirza said that there is time to find and arrest the four people named in the warrants.
"We have 30 days to deal with the issue," Mirza told "an -Nahar" newspaper on Wednesday.
As politicized Tribunal leaks says that the second set of arrest warrants will be issued at the end of the month, the Central News Agency said that the number of the warrants is expected to be between 14 and 17.
