Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water Gibran Bassil announced that "the government is working hard to identify the Lebanese maritime borders at the external level through the United Nations, the State of Cyprus, and the rest of concerned parties as well as at the internal level through practical actions that the government is taking with all the concerned ministries."
After his meeting with Prime Minister Najib Mikati, at the Grand Serail, Bassil revealed that "his Ministry sent seven communications to the government of President Saad Hariri to discuss the issue but in vain."
"The current government has started working on this file since the first report in order to address the problems and not just watch them," Bassil added.
Mikati also received the two ministers, Walid Daouk and Hassan Diab at the head of a delegation from "al-Makased Islamic Association".
The PM also met the Public Health Minister, Ali Hassan Khalil and research has been conducted in the affairs of the Ministry in addition to the general situation in the country.
