Report: Turkey Obtains Names of Flotilla Raid Soldiers
In light of increasing tensions between "Israel" and Turkey, over the UN Palmer report on the "Israeli" raid on the Turkish-led Freedom Flotilla, Turkish chief prosecutor requested the country's intelligence services to reveal the identities of the "Israeli" soldiers involved in the raid on the Mavi Marmara, which led to the martyrdom of nine Turkish activists, "Israeli" Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
Furthermore, according to al-Zaman Turkish Newspaper, a lawyer from the IHH, the Turkish group organizing the flotilla, stated that his organization has handed the prosecutor with a list including over ten names of "Israeli" soldiers that were aboard the Mavi Marmara.
Lawyer Ramzan Turk stated that after they handed the list to Istanbul's prosecutor based on information received by other "Israeli" soldiers who regretted the incident, they are now waiting for the arrest warrants to be issued.
The Turkish attorney added that the soldiers who provided him with the names of those responsible for the killing and injuring of the activists, did not take part in the raid.
