MP Moussawi: Those Besieging Syria Today Contributed in July 2006 Aggression on Lebanon
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc Member Nawwaf Moussawi confirmed that the siege imposed on the Syrian people is a replicate of the siege imposed on the Palestinian people's political choice and on the Gaza Strip.
"Those besieging Syria today are the same parties that contributed and took part in the July 2006 aggression on Lebanon", MP Moussawi added, further noting that the "campaign launched by the region's enemies [...] will end with failure like previous attacks.
Moreover, he stressed that by the duty of loyalty, and the historical, economic, geographic, and political requirements, Lebanon is inevitably a supporter of the Syrian people, which welcomed the Lebanese people during the July 2006 war. MP Moussawi also indicated that Lebanon will refuse any kind of sanctions planned to be imposed on Syria.
"The so-called commitment to Arab League (AL) decisions is non-sense, and has no place in political analyses or in moral values that bind the peoples of Lebanon and Syria together", he stated.
Furthermore, MP Moussawi noted that there is a big different between the year 2006 and today; for the military balance is not as it used to be, and the resistance's capabilities have developed.
Moussawi went on to day that "therefore, the possibilities of an "Israeli" aggression on Lebanon and the region have become concerns related to survival, security, and existence guarantees for the "Israeli"."
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP confirmed that the resistance axis and front are today achieving a historic and strategic history represented in the US troops' withdrawal from Iraq.
He reminded that as the "Israeli" enemy agents were defeated and withdrew from Lebanon after the 2000 victory, the US agents in the region will have the same fate.
"The escalating rhetoric, threats, and sanctions on Syria, are but an attempt to put an end to the resistance victory achieved through the US troops' withdrawal in Iraq", MP Moussawi iterated.
Also, MP Moussawi called upon those who design policies in Lebanon, to realize that they are depending on firm, steadfast, effective, and strong capabilities, illustrated through the resistance and Lebanese defense capacities which transferred Lebanon from "being a negative recipient, to a positive donor in the regional and international equations."
