Deputy Head of the Hizbullah's Executive Counci, Sheikh Nabil Qaouk saluted the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people, highlighting its supportive role to the resistance, liberation, and reconstruction of the properties "Israel" destroyed in several aggressions in South Lebanon. 

Sheikh Qaouk stressed that "all the plots woven against Iran are futile and will not deter it from confronting aggressions and supporting the resistance."
Sheikh Qaouk made his statement during a tour in South Lebanon, where he accompanied Iran's Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister, Sayyed Mohammad Ali Husseini.

The delegation visited the Khiam prison [a former detention center run by Israeli-allied militiamen during the "Israeli" occupation of south Lebanon], the Fatima gate at the Kafarshouba hills borders, as well as the steadfast village of Maroun al-Ras which looks onto the Occupied Palestinian Territories, also the Mleeta resistance museum. 

Husseini, for his part, said at the Fatima gate, "This gate constitutes one of the resistance aspects which are clearly demonstrated in South Lebanon." Also, during a visit to Mleeta Museum that the sacred land of Lebanon is blessed with the blood of martyrs. "Lebanese Resistance and Iranians have changed the world's political equations because they do not bow to any pressures,' Husseini said. 

The final stop was in the Qana village, where they visited the cemetery of the 2006 "Israeli" massacre which took place during the "Israeli" operation Grapes of Wrath, and placed a wreath in honorary of the civilian martyrs.
