The "Israeli" army kidnapped Mohammed Zaal Al-Mohammed, a Lebanese national from the Al-Ghajar village in South Lebanon.
Mohammed, a shepherded in his twenties, was transferred to "Israeli" territory.
Spanish UNIFIL troops observed the kidnapping without interfering. UNIFIL Spokeswoman Yasmin Bouziane said that the "Israeli" army informed UN troops of the arrest of a Lebanese national on the "Israeli" side of the Blue Line.
"The Lebanese national crossed from the Lebanese side to the "Israeli" side of the Blue Line," the "Israeli" army claimed in a statement.
UNIFIL informed Lebanese security forces and dispatched a team to investigate the incident.
"UNIFIL will follow up closely with Lebanese and "Israeli" forces in order to solve this matter," Bouziane said.
Late on, the "Israeli" forces released the shepherd Al-Mohammed after investigating him.
