On another hand, Syria's envoy to the UN, Bashar al-Jaafari, confirmed that the terrorist crimes in his country are escalating, adding that some are clearly attempts by the al-Qaida Affiliation.
Al-Jaafari delivered a letter addressed to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon from the Syrian Foreign Ministry, which read, "These escalating crimes confirm that Syria is being subjected to a terrorist attack led by affiliations receiving financial and weaponry aid from sides that announced their support to these terrorist crimes, and their encouragement to conduct them," as-Safir daily indicated.
Moreover, al-Jaafari unveiled a list including 26 terrorists' names; some of which are directly affiliated with al-Qaida.

"Syria has delivered this list to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, along with taped confessions for same persons; who confessed coming to Syria to conduct terrorist crimes," al-Jaafari affirmed.
He further indicated that Syria faces grave danger while some countries aid the armed terrorist groups. The Syrian envoy to the UN said that intelligence officials from neighboring countries revealed that munitions are smuggled through their borders into Syria.

Al-Jaafari cited Lebanese Foreign Minister [Adnan Mansour] saying that the Lebanese authorities arrested 27 personnel trying to smuggle weapons, with further reference to Syria-bound confiscated "Lutfallah 2" Ship.
