The Head of Hizbullah's 14-member parliamentary bloc, Mohammad Raad, on Friday sent a letter to Kuwaiti Speaker Jassem al-Kharafi denouncing criticism of Islamic Resistance commander Imad Moghnieh.
Raad said the bloc was "offended" by statements released by "some legislators, ministers and media outlets in Kuwait "against a great commander of the Islamic resistance who had been assassinated by "Israel's" Mossad after playing a major role in defending Lebanon and liberating its land."
"We had expected solidarity in denouncing Zionist terror and we did not expect a trial in absentia of a man who had brought pride to the nation of Arabs and Muslims," Raad added.
Four Kuwaiti lawyers filed a suit against two Shiite MPs Wednesday for holding a rally to mourn the slain Hizbullah commander who is accused of hijacking a Kuwaiti plane.
