Anti-War Demonstrators Arrested Outside “Israeli” Embassy in Washington

US police have arrested anti-war protesters who rallied outside the "Israeli" embassy in Washington to protest the Tel Aviv regime's bloody offensive on the besieged Gaza Strip.

The protesters, some of them anti-"Israeli" Jews, condemned the onslaught in Gaza that has killed at least 1,452 people and injured over 8,300 since July 8.
"When I see a kid hurt, I cry. It doesn't matter if it is black, white, Arab, Muslim, Christian," one protestor said, reported Press TV.

A recent attack by "Israel" on a United Nations school in the Gaza Strip left dozens of people dead.

To mark a change, protestors also refused to leave despite police warnings, in solidarity with Palestinians who get frequent bombing warnings from the "Israeli" army, but are refused time or space to escape attacks.
"I think that the people of Gaza get sometimes a one-minute warning to get out of their homes. They have nowhere to go. Where are they supposed to go to be safe?" Medea Benjamin, CODEPINK pro-peace organizer, said after the police made their third warning to protestors.

Protestors called for the prosecution of "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other "Israeli" officials for war crimes.
Police and embassy staff arrested Medea Benjamin, former CIA officer Ray McGovern, and other members of CODEPINK, along with other activists protesting in front of the "Israel" embassy.

Over recent weeks, similar anti-"Israel" rallies have been held in a number of major US cities - including New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Denver, Phoenix, Philadelphia, and San Francisco - where Americans have condemned US officials' support for "Israel".

Americans' anger at their government's support for Tel Aviv comes as "Israel's" brutal atrocities against Palestinians are heavily funded by Washington. Under a current 10-year deal with "Israel", over $3 billion of American taxpayers' money is flowing to "Israel' in military aid every year.
