Channel 2 'Israeli' Television said that an 'Israeli' officer serving on the northern border of 'Israel' has lost an MP4 player containing classified files, including a list of possible targets in Lebanon and Syria to be attacked in the event of a war.
A Channel 2 reporter showed on television a copy of these documents, which were copied without permission.
"Four young men gave the MP4 player they found to the journalist," the television reporter said without giving further details.
Later on, the television station handed it over to the 'Israeli' army.
The documents saved on the MP4 player contain pictures taken from the air and reports about the deployment of Lebanese and Syrian armed forces, Hizbullah's troops and a list of possible targets.
An 'Israeli' army spokesperson said that that military police have opened an investigation into officer, who had not declared the MP4 missing.
