1660 "Israeli" Violations Recorded in Nearly One Month

A paradox has emerged after an Islamic resistance statement revealed the hiatus between continuous "Israeli" violations of the Lebanese sovereignty and the insistence of some political officials not to mention Hizbullah as a resistance in the policy statement.
The Islamic Resistance has issued a statement condemning "Israel's" continuous violations of Lebanese airspace, water and land, especially in the past few days." The increase of "Israeli" enemy violations of Lebanese airspace, water and land is considered an unacceptable provocative escalation," said the statement. "It requires condemnation and serious action by the Lebanese authorities and the United Nations," it added.
According to Lebanese Army figures, 1660 airspace, water and land violations have taken place between May and the beginning of July what means that thousands of "Israeli" soldiers and officers had entered Lebanese territories to set targets and continue the psychological war against Lebanon. However, some Lebanese politicians who are currently engaged in a battle to exclude the right of resisting the occupation from the anticipated policy statement, have given no mention of "Israel's" violations.
In this regard, local observers identified two main issues: Firstly, that the huge amount of positions of the Lebanese politicians disregarded the "Israeli" violations and the Zionist entity's implicit intentions, suggesting that such aggressive acts and violation of UN Security Council resolutions have become for granted. Secondly, the issuance of the policy statement has been delayed due to the sensitivity of some sides vis-à-vis the word 'resistance' and even criticized Hizbullah's "sharp condemnation" of the "Israeli" violations.
Member of the Change and Reform parliamentary bloc MP Abbas Hashem urged those who criticized Hizbullah's statement as strongly-worded to retort to "Israeli" War Minister Ehud Barak's vigorous releases in the US and the remarks made by US ambassador to Lebanon Michele Sisson in front of the US Congress Foreign Affairs Committee where she attacked freed detainee from "Israeli" jail Samir Kintar. "They should have read those messages first... but the Islamic resistance continues to prove its effectiveness, presence and readiness to defy the "Israeli" enemy regardless of the internal distractions and absurdities", Hashem said.
Ehud Barak made his remarks when meeting with UN secretary General Ban ki-Moon in the United States on Wednesday alleging that the UNSC resolution 1701 was "not working well enough" due to violations by Hizbullah.
'NO TO RESISTANCE' SLOGAN TO BACKLASH
MP Hashem added that some political parties have been working on a political program during the last ten years with its main slogan 'No' for the resistance. Since the elections are coming close, the decline of this slogan would mean the decline of this political program before the public who are supposed to elect.
"In any democracy, people are the source of authorities not the opposite and therefore, the choice of the people is called ‘the decision of the state and not the other way around." The people made their decision that the resistance is in the framework of the state. In other words, the people have chosen the resistance as a real option based on the principle of its success in establishing stability and security as well as tranquility," MP Hashem said.
