BEIRUT--A prominent Lebanese lawyer and a human rights activist has decided to file a complaint with Lebanese and Spanish courts against the "Israeli" occupying regime over its atrocities in the region.
May al-Khansa'a told Al-Alam on Thursday that her decision to lodge the complaint against the Zionist regime has been made due to the regime's continued "barbarian atrocities" against Lebanon and its infrastructures.
The Lebanese human rights activist said she plans to draw on documented evidence to make the case in some of the European courts against the Zionist regime's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
She said: "The death sentence issued by a Lebanese court against Ariel Sharon, the former Zionist regime's prime minister was a shock to the regime at the time of the decision."
"It also prompted the US government to pressure the Lebanese government to stop pursuing the case," she added.
Al-Khansa'a said she has also lodged a complaint against the Human Rights Watch, "which seeks to hold a conference with some of the Lebanese parties against Hizbullah's resistance in 33-day war."
However, the Lebanon's court stopped the conference.
She further referred to the International Criminal Court's verdict against Sudanese President Omar al-Beshir and said the order was issued under the US pressures.
