MP Saheli: Opposition wants a powerful state and capable army

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Nawwar Saheli told the Free Lebanon radio station on Wednesday that the "opposition had ambitions to reach the stage where the Lebanese state would be powerful and the army would be capable."
Saheli questioned whether foreign countries would approve of the potential outcomes of the national roundtable dialogue, which is to discuss an integrated national defense strategy.
He added that Thursday's quadripartite summit in Damascus between Qatar, Syria, Turkey and France would help Lebanon deal with controversial issues.
