Iran: Aridi΄s assassination targets Resistance΄s achievements and Lebanese unity

Iran condemned the Wednesday night assassination of Saleh Aridi. Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Kashkawi said on Thursday that the killing was in line with "Israel's" objectives in the region, which, he said, were to destabilize the situation in Lebanon. Kashkawi said that Iran fully supported cooperation and national unity in Lebanon, and that those who were behind the assassination wanted to undermine reconciliation and the achievements of the Resistance.
