Safieddine: Reconciliation efforts not directed against any Lebanese party
Source: nowlebanon.com, 21-09-2008
Head of Hizbullah Executive Council Sayyed Hashem Safieddine said that the Lebanese people could face regional conflicts and the enemy, though unity and reconciliation.
During an Iftar event on Saturday night in the Bekaa Valley, Safieddine said that all parties should ensure that Lebanon remained neutral in regional and international politics.
He called on everyone to participate in reconciliations, which he said were not directed against any Lebanese party.
Safieddine said that reconciliation efforts faced American and ‘Israeli' policies that intended to weaken Lebanese unity.
He added that he supported dialogue, which would solve all political, economic and social crises.
