The Middle East News Agency reported that Ronen Bergman, an "Israeli" investigative journalist, said in his recently released book, The Secret War with Iran, that "Israel" was responsible for the February assassination of Hizbullah military leader Imad Moghnieh in Damascus.
The book discussed many of the regional events that have occurred during the past two and a half years.
Bergman wrote that "although "Israel" denied its involvement in the assassination, killing Moghnieh was necessary to bring back confidence in the "Israeli" intelligence services and frighten the enemy."
He added that an "Israeli" intelligence services officer mentioned the car that Moghnieh was driving during the incident when he said, "Sorry for the Pajero."
