Sheikh Qabalan calls for unity against "Israeli" enemy and its conspiracies

Higher Shia Islamic Council Vice President Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan has called on the Lebanese people to unite to thwart attempts at sewing discord by "the enemies of Lebanon and those bent on evil."
During his daily moral lesson on Saturday, Qabalan highlighted the role of the army and security forces in maintaining the security and stability of Lebanon for its citizens.
Qabalan called for unity in the face of the ""Israeli" enemy and its conspiracies, and networks of terrorism and espionage," which he said had been "planted to disrupt and break up our territory."
"We want to spread trust and love," Sheikh Qabalan said. "We cannot build a worthy society while there are diseases within us. We must correct what we have ruined within us, and then proceed to free, moderate, straight talk that brings us closer together," he said.
