Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri denounced the "Israeli" attacks on Gaza, labeling them massacres and mass execution parties of the Palestinian people.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Berri said "we denounce and condemn the new monstrous and persistent ‘Israeli' crime against our Palestinian brethren."

He called on "all world and all international organizations, especially the United Nations, the Security Council, the Arab League, the Islamic Conference Organization, the Arab Parliamentarian Union and the different parliamentarian institutions to act immediately to stop the ‘Israeli' aggression."
Berri said that "defending Gaza in this political moment is a defense of the international and Arab regimes against a foe all humanity."
