Hizbullah foreign relations officer Nawwaf Moussawi urged the Arabs, especially Egypt, to stand beside the Palestinians in Gaza.

Moussawi, in an interview with New TV on Sunday, noted that "the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt is still closed." Egypt has, however, accused Hamas of not allowing the wounded to enter its territories through the Rafah border crossing, the only crossing into the Gaza Strip that is not controlled by "Israel".

Moussawi said, "During the July war some Arab regimes colluded with 'Israel' and they were impudent in holding Hizbullah responsible for the war. The same thing is happening now regarding Gaza."

"What is happening in Gaza today is an 'Israeli'-US war, with Arab collusion, to deprive the Palestinians of their rights," he said.

"Those who think that they can threaten the Lebanese or their brethren in the refugee camps, to prevent them from supporting their brethren in Gaza, is deluded," he added.
