Sayyed Al-Houthi: Yemen’s Ops Forced US to Halt Aggression

The leader of Yemeni Ansarullah revolutionary movement Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi stressed that the United States' failure to affect Yemen’s military operations in support of the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza compelled Washington to opt for halting its aggression on the country.
He also affirmed Yemen’s full readiness to confront any new round of American aggression.
Sayyed Al-Houthi warned that both religious and secular Zionists are united in their hostile agenda to dominate the region and realize the project of “Greater ‘Israel’.”
Speaking in a televised speech on Thursday, Sayyed Al-Houthi stressed that “Israel” has continued its barbaric aggression on Gaza for 19 consecutive months, “committing what has become known as the crime of the century—a genocide unfolding in the heart of Islamic lands, before the eyes of the entire world.”
“The genocide in Gaza is broadcast live, unlike past atrocities that were only known after the fact. This places immense responsibility on the Islamic Ummah [nation], especially the Arabs, who bear sacred duties in jihad and standing against oppression,” he stated.
Sayyed Al-Houthi further underlined that “The Ummah’s continued neglect of Gaza will not absolve it from divine consequences. The more the oppression increases, the heavier the responsibility and the greater the punishment.”
He went on to say that abandoning God’s commands out of fear, greed, or corrupted education has stripped the Ummah of its conscience, values, and dignity.
He said both religious and secular Zionism are united in their efforts to “destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque and build the so-called temple.”
“Some Arab rulers are enraged by public criticism but not by the Zionist belief that views them as lower than animals—a disgraceful level of subjugation and moral decay,” he stated.
The Ansarullah leader said that the Palestinian people continue to fight with courage and resolve, and their fighters’ operations prove their effectiveness and unbreakable stance.
“Despite facing a genocidal war, their spiritual strength remains intact—but they need the full support of the Ummah,” he stated.
“In contrast to overwhelming US and Western support for ‘Israel’, the Islamic world has largely failed to uphold its responsibilities. Yemen has remained committed—militarily, officially, and popularly—to supporting the Palestinian people,” he declared.
The Ansarullah leader said that from March 15 to May 7, “131 operations were carried out in support of Palestine, involving 253 ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles and drones, despite continuous American aggression on Yemen.”
“This week alone, 10 missiles and drones were launched toward Yafa, Askalan, the Naqab, Umm al-Rashrash, and occupied Haifa. The strike on Lod Airport [Ben Gurion] drew major global attention and exposed the enemy’s vulnerability,” he stated.
He said that the “Ben Gurion” airport “was struck despite four layers of air defense, including the American THAAD system.”
The Ansarullah leader said at least 27 international airlines suspended flights to the occupation entity, showing the impact of Yemen’s operations.
He said that the US launched over 1,712 air and naval strikes on Yemen between March 15 to May 7, most of them targeting civilian sites, yet failed to stop Yemeni operations or break the will of the people.
“The enemy turned to bombing civilian infrastructure after failing to target Yemen’s military capabilities—seeking to pressure and demoralize the people,” Houthi said.
“Yemen’s missile and drone operations—including targeting US aircraft carriers and downing F-18 jets have proven their effectiveness, forced evasive actions and exposed American vulnerability,” he stated.
The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement reiterated that Yemen’s support for Palestine is rooted in faith, not political calculations.
The slogan “Death to America, death to ‘Israel’” reflects deep conviction, echoed not just in words but in missiles, drones, and unwavering action, he said.
Sayyed Al-Houthi said that the naval blockade on “Israeli” shipping has been fully successful, paralyzing movement through strategic waters and adding pressure to the enemy.
“More than 1.9 million activities have been held across Yemen during the 19 months of war—demonstrations, mobilizations, and public actions that reflect the strength and depth of popular engagement,” he said.
Referring to massive million-strong weekly rallies, Houthi said that they “are a central expression of resistance, dignity, and thanks to God for America’s failure and a direct challenge to the ‘Israeli’ enemy.
“I call on our people to take to the streets tomorrow [Friday] in a great, million-strong demonstration—in gratitude to God, in defiance of the enemy, in loyalty to Palestine, and in steadfast commitment to our position,” he said.
“We also advise Islamic governments to take seriously their responsibility to contain the dangerous US-provoked tension between India and Pakistan. Iran has begun commendable efforts—others must follow,” said the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement.
Sayyed Al-Houthi said that the US seeks to incite a devastating war between India and Pakistan, as part of its broader agenda to destabilize the region for its own benefit.
On another level, he said that “Israel’s” criminal attack on the Freedom Flotilla further proves its hostility to all human and moral values, even against neutral humanitarian missions.
“We affirm once again: our position has not weakened, retreated, or faltered. It remains steadfast, complete, and rooted in faith, no matter the escalation or pressure,” he said, pointing out that “Should the US engage in a third round of aggression, we are fully prepared to confront it, with reliance on God Almighty.”
“Our priority remains clear and unwavering: support for the Palestinian people and their fighters—through strikes into occupied Palestine and the continued blockade on ‘Israeli’ ships,” he noted.
“Our message to the world is clear: We will not abandon our dignity, our faith, or our cause. We are ready—always—and we will remain on this path, until victory, justice, and liberation are achieved,” Houthi concluded.
