Yemen Vows to Humiliate “Israeli” Warplanes, Warns of Dangerous Airspace

Yemen’s top political leader has declared that the country is enhancing its air defense capabilities in response to repeated "Israeli" attacks, promising that the pride of the "Israeli" air force will soon become an object of ridicule.
Mahdi al-Mashat, President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, said in a statement on Friday that the Armed Forces will soon deliver good news regarding "Israeli" aircraft involved in strikes against Yemen. “You will soon receive, God willing, good news about the Zionist enemy aircraft used in the aggression against our country,” he told the Yemen News Agency [SABA].
He emphasized that Yemen’s air defense systems are being upgraded and are increasingly capable of confronting "Israeli" warplanes. “Our Armed Forces, particularly our air defenses, will soon turn the enemy’s aircraft into a source of ridicule,” Al-Mashat declared.
To safeguard regional air and maritime navigation, Yemen’s Armed Forces have issued warnings to avoid air corridors used by "Israeli" military aircraft. “We have designated the paths used by the Zionist enemy to attack our country as dangerous zones for all companies,” Al-Mashat said, urging airlines to avoid these flight routes for safety reasons.
Yemen has accused "Israel" of carrying out strikes while hiding behind civilian aircraft to evade detection by air defense systems. Over the past weeks, "Israeli" warplanes have conducted repeated attacks on Yemeni territory.
Amid the escalating conflict in Gaza, Yemen has enforced a maritime blockade targeting strategic shipping routes used for delivering military support to "Israel." The Yemeni Armed Forces have stated that their operations will continue until "Israel" halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
The US has yet to publicly comment on the latest developments involving "Israeli" actions in Yemen or the rising threat to international air traffic in the region.
