MP Moussawi saw that the wording of the ministerial statement in all its contents cannot meet U.S. requirements, but will solidify the resistance role in liberating the land from the occupier and in defending Lebanon in cooperation with the Lebanese army and the people embracing them. This will lead to a big disappointment in the American Administration because the national unity government is inconsistent with America's objectives of holding all the political cards in the Lebanese arena.

Moussawi called for the endorsement of both the political and economic halves of the ministerial statement, consistent with the interests of Lebanon and the Lebanese. He also called for instilling a spirit of reconciliation among the all Lebanese groups, for opening reconciliation doors and the establishment of a new language at the Lebanese-Syrian relations level, because all these contain a clear and firm response against American conspiracies aimed at fragmenting Lebanon and the region.
