A Hizbullah delegation led by Political Council member Ghaleb Abu Zeinab, visited Tashnaq party headquarters in Borj Hammoud. The occasion was taken as an opportunity to discuss overall issues on the Lebanese arena.

Following the meeting, Abu Zeinab congratulated the Lebanese on Independence Day, contending that this celebration comes brighter and more splendid this year, and that the Lebanese since year 2000 until today, taste and feel the presence and meaning of independence in Lebanon.

Abu Zeinab expressed his belief that the synergy between the National Army and Resistance through and through led to the positive results enjoyed in Lebanon. Without this force and presence we would not be enjoying the pride and dignity we are experiencing today, since in this regard no international resolutions, Security Council or any of the world's major countries gave us anything during the entire recent phase.
