The Deputy Secretary General of Hizbullah; Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasised that nothing protects Lebanon from "Israeli" aggressions, pointing out that Resolution 1701 was the result of Hizbullah's steadfastness in its confrontation with "Israel."

In an interview with "al-Sabaat" (stability) Weekly Newspaper in tomorrow's edition, Sheikh Qassem said that this decision was the catalyst to find solutions, stressing Hizbullah's commitment to the decision's conditions and restraints, which he says "Israel" has not implemented its part thereto, where the Zionist entity's breaches since August 14, 2006 until today have reached approximately 11,000 violations of the Lebanese sovereignty.

Sheikh Qassem hoped the National Unity Government makes some internal achievements, pointing out that the arms of Hizbullah is not a discussion topic in government or at the dialogue table, because the subject of discussion is the defense strategy, and when the strategy is discussed, all matters related matters would be too.

As for the relationship between the Arab Nationalists and Islam, Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that Hizbullah was a forerunner in the founding of the relationship between Arab nationalists and Islam, thus opening the field for addressing issues that have existed between the Islamists and Arab nationalists.

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary-General indicated that after the PM Hariri assassination, a Sunni-Shiaa sedition emerged as a central title, a great deal of incitement we focused in that direction, but we always advocated their cessation, and we took a series of steps to stop them enduring many sacrifices in the process, until in the end a national unity government was reached that puts everyone at ease and founds for stability.

He said: Today, we stand before a positive sight in Lebanon, and at this pace we call for inter-Arab reconciliations. We were happy to see a Saudi-Syrian rapprochement, because that spares us a great deal and is a slap to the faces of "Israel" and America.

He stressed that Hizbullah calls for positive relations between Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey and the Arab and Islamic countries, calling for the search for a political solution to the problem in Yemen, and for dialogue there.
