Baabek-Hermel Parliamentary bloc highly values new political manifesto

Baalbek-Hermel bloc highly valued the content of the political manifesto recently announced by Hizbullah, saying it forms an intellectual and political internal reference, and reflcts ideological and political maturity of the party, as it addresses and stimulates the Lebanese reality, understands the specifity of the Lebanese composition, complimenting between the party's constants of doctrine and reality. It focusses on grasping the priorities of the local scene, based on
its awareness of the challenges affecting the region, the "Israeli" challenge at their forefront.

In its regular meeting the bloc indicated that Hizbullah wanted to present a manifesto of clear contents so that its prospects for the coming stage can be read, this document reveals openness to building the capable State under all the titles of partnership and equality, the State of institutions and the State which oversees the homeland and citizens.

While the bloc stressed the document's stated adoption of the resistance as the only option for liberation and rights restoration, following the settlement option's failure to recover them. The bloc members called on all partners in the country to objectively read the document and in-depth, away from lineups and prejudices, instead to look with the descerning that leads us to the areas of convergence aimed at building the State and facing the challenges.

The bloc then focused on priorities concerning Baalbek- Hermel area, discussions covered social, health and agricultural issues, in addition to following-up the law on land joining and partitioning in the region, considering the completion of this subject helps people stay in their land, and to invest in and on it.

The agricultural subject was a key item on the bloc's agenda, stressing the need to raise the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture in next year's government budget, commensurate with agricultural projects in the report prepared by the bloc and the Ministry itself. The bloc also indicated the importance of giving the agricultural sector its deserved rights in the ministerial statement of the National Unity Government, in order to contribute in upholding the pillars of the country.
