The Saudi-backed Bahraini regime forces launched an attack against an anti-regime protest staged in a northeastern Bahraini village.

Bahraini protesters gathered on Monday holding peaceful demonstrations in the streets of Nuwaidrat, calling for the implementation of reforms and the departure of their current ruler King Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalifa.

Bahrain joined the Middle East anti-regime uprising calling for political, social, and economic reforms in order to attain a democratic life.

However, the Bahraini regime rulers met the peaceful demonstrations with brutal and aggressive operations against protesters, calling for Saudi and Emirati military backup to attack protesters.
During protests, dozens of Bahraini protesters have been killed, while hundreds others were detained, including doctors and nurses.

Couple of months after the Bahraini popular outrage was launched, the Bahraini regime and opposition parties in the country decided to hold a so-called "National Dialogue", although the people opposed this notion.
Opposition parties threatened the authorities that if the people's demands are not met, then they will withdraw from the talks and continue with their peaceful popular protests.
