Saudi-Backed Bahraini Troops Assault Protesters, Kill One

Witnesses reported that the Saudi-backed Bahraini forces attacked on Friday an anti-regime protest in the village of Bani Jamra near Manama.

Sources added that the armed attack killed one woman and injured several others, two of whom are in a critical condition.

The Bahrainis are still insistent on demanding their right to political and social reform, calling for the departure of the al-Khalifa rulers. Since the Bahraini revolution started in mid-February, pro-democracy protesters have been holding massive demonstrations, especially after Friday prayers of each week.
