Hizbullah and Amal Movement leaderships in the south condemned the criminal attack against the French UNIFIL Patrol troops in Saida. Both sides called for investigating this attack in order to reveal the identity of those responsible for it.
This came during a Hizbullah, Amal Movement coordinative meeting in Hizbullah's bureau in Tyre, where both parties discussed different political developments occurring on the Lebanese and regional levels.

Furthermore, they also went through the livelihood and economic affairs that contribute in enhancing the livelihood situation of the Lebanese citizens.
Both parties further congratulated the Lebanese citizens on the fifth year anniversary of the historic divine victory against the "Israelis" in the July 2006 war. They confirmed that Lebanon's power represented by the army, people, and resistance equation will remain solely capable of defending the homeland and protecting it from the "Israeli" enemy that constantly violates Lebanon's land, airspace, and coastal sovereignty.

They also noted that the latest attempts to assault Lebanon by trespassing oil resources in the Lebanese economic waters, is not the last to be seen of the "Israel's" breaches.
Hizbullah and Amal Movement issued a statement at the end of their meeting, in which they called upon the Lebanese government to tackle the livelihood issues as soon as possible, and seek social and economic solutions for problems that worsen the citizen's situations.

The parties affirmed that the electricity and water sector represents a major reason behind the people's suffering; a problem which the government should take into immediate consideration.
