Sheikh Qassem: Resistance Continuous, A Necessity Lebanon Cannot Forsake

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem assured that "the resistance is not a novelty invented by Hizbullah, it is rather a path for all the honorable people."
His Eminence noted that "All those who believe that restoring the land, as well as achieving pride, dignity, and independence is a necessity, must believe in the Resistance."
Sheikh Naim, during a ceremony to sign the eighth edition of his book "Hizbullah" noted that the resistance has presented a pattern to those who have faith in it, so as to sacrifice with their souls and bodies for the sake of God and far from any personal benefits or interests.
Sheikh Qassem further noted that an important characteristic of the Islamic Resistance is that it is based on fixed principles, and it has clear goals. "This resistance is a choice; it is a resistance that aims at realizing liberation and independence. It is not a random reaction that can be negotiated or bought," he said.
Sheikh Qassem went on to say that "billions of dollars were offered to the resistance under the title of "reconstructing the Lebanese deprived South", where in return we would give in our arms and stop resisting, but our answer was "We want nothing, the resistance will go on no matter what the consequences are, and despite the hardships."
His Eminence assured that "Israel" was the one to start its aggression on Lebanon at different times. He reiterated that if it were not for the Resistance and the July war victory, "Israel" now would have been assassinating more people, invading villages, arresting citizens and preparing for nationalization. But what stopped "Israel" from all that is the deterrence of the resistance, since the 2000 liberation and until the 2006 victory, Sheikh Qassem added.
His Eminence reassured there is a real and firm deterrence in face of the "Israeli" scheme, highlighting that the two stations (2000 and 2006) prove the necessity of the resistance as Lebanon cannot let go.
