Ambassador Rokon Abadi: Iran Ready to Cooperate with Lebanon in Oil Drilling

Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokon Abadi confirmed that his country does not wish Lebanon but the good of its people, reaffirming Iran's readiness to enhance cooperation with Lebanon on different levels, especially on the level of oil drilling.
In this context, Iranian Ambassador considered that this issue needs to be examined by experts, stating that his country is willing to contribute in this regard.
During his meeting with Lebanese Energy and Water Minister Gibran Bassil, Ambassador Rokon Abadi delivered Iranian Energy Minister's greeting for Minister Bassil for being reinstated in his position as Minister of Energy and Water.
Furthermore, Rokon Abadi noted that during the meeting, both sides discussed domains of cooperation between the bilateral ministries, where both had signed memorandums of understanding on the levels of energy, electricity, dams, water, and oil, in order to enhance bilateral cooperation.
