Qahwaji: Army’s Constant Bet is Preserving Unity, Independence

Lebanese Army Commander General Jean Qahwaji called upon the army troops to be fully prepared in order to confront what they would possibly face of difficulties and threats.
On this level, he urged the troops to distance themselves from the "wrong bets" promoted by some people.
During a ceremony to honor major generals who have reached the compulsory age of retirement, Qahwaji affirmed that the army's constant bet is to preserve Lebanon's unity, independence and achievements.
Also, General Qahwaji added that the army seeks protection of all the Lebanese citizens, regardless of their approaches and affiliations.
