Fayyad: Resistance Stronger, Reflects Lebanese Majority
"Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc" MP Ali Fayyad stressed that "the resistance in Lebanon is moving through more stages of power in spite of divisions and differences."
Calling those who are pointing towards the resistance weapons to re-evaluate their positions, the MP stressed that "anyone who believes that the "Israeli" threat has passed is wrong."
"Without the resistance, the enemy would transgress our airspace and our territories, it will also appear every now and then with a military adventure that destroys our stability," Fayyad noted.
During a sponsorship ceremony for the commemoration anniversary of the "The Teacher Martyr's" Day, Fayyad confirmed that "the resistance reflects the opinion of the vast majority of Lebanese people," adding that those who object the resistance are a minority political class unable to provide an alternative."
"The resistance is what drove the enemy from the Lebanese equation," he added.
"We live in a stage that requires a rapprochement of positions and rationalizing of the political situation so that we guarantee our country's security," the MP concluded.
