He believed that "any defensive weapon in the face of "Israel" should be upheld and protected".

After a PSP delegation visit to Hizbullah Political Council, where they met Head of the council Sayyed Ibrahim Amine As-Sayyed, Nasser believed that "any problem raised about the weapon remains for the national dialogue [to be discussed] between the Lebanese, especially during this delicate phase the region is passing through".

Moreover, Nasser indicated that this visit comes in "the national framework to enhance communication and confirm common factors between both parties present at the site of confrontation with the "Israeli" enemy".
In response to a question by Al Intiqad Online newspaper, whether the discussions tackled the funding of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, the PSP Secretary renewed his party's support for the funding; however, he expressed "understanding the concerns of Hizbullah" in this regard.

Also, he called for putting any dispute regarding the tribunal in the framework of "natural dialogue" between both parties. Nasser noted that the said dispute is natural, and does not spoil the friendly relations between them.
The PSP delegation led by Zafer Nasser also included new party members Serhan Serhan, Rabih Ashour, Walid Sfeir, in addition to Media Commissioner Rami al-Rayyes.
