Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc Member Ali Fayyad confirmed that there are some [parties] "that are seeking to deteriorate our [Hizbullah's] image and positions in Lebanon and the Arab world".

Fayyad indicated that some of these parties do this because of their alliance with the US, as they seek to settle the Palestinian cause on the expense of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, and believe that the resistance represents an obstacle in front of this pursuit.
He added that other parties do this out of "hateful sectarian accounts" that don't care for the interests of the Arab and Islamic nation, at the time when the resistance does not have any sectarian interests. On this level, He stressed, "On the contrary, the resistance has paid heavy prices at the expense of its own environment to serve the public and national interests".

In this context, MP Fayyad indicated that Hizbullah and the resistance support the Arab revolutions in Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya, especially regarding the resulted transformations.
"We are with the Yemeni and Bahraini people in their just and rightful demands and we are with every popular effort to reform and develop the political system and achieve social justice, sovereignty, national dignity, freedom, and combating corruption", MP Fayyad added.

Furthermore, Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP affirmed, "We have our hopes high on those revolutions, and we call upon them to remain faithful on the anticipations of their people, and truly reflect their determination".
"We call on those revolutions to remain vigilant so that the power countries will not steal their achievements or detour them from the right sovereignty path in supporting the central cause, which is Palestine", MP Fayyad stated.

He added that Hizbullah believes that one of the biggest challenges facing these revolutions is their ability to maintain all components of its society; on the religious or sectarian levels.
"Those revolutions will not reach their goals if it ended tyranny but plunged into sectarian conflicts, and was subjected to the rule of the arrogant powers", MP Fayyad warned.

On the Syrian level, MP Fayyad reiterated, "It is the Syrian people's right to work on development and reforms. President Bashar al-Assad [...] has opened the doors for reforms, and has called for cooperation between the regime and people in order to reach reforms that go in accordance with the conditions of Syria".
