The Hizbullah Secretary General Deputy His Eminence Skeikh Naim Qassem assured that "the title of the resistance today is independence and liberation."
"We are adherent to our choice, we do not accept disgrace, neither do we accept trivial vested rights. We will always raise the flag of resistance and work on such basis," Sheikh Qassem stressed.
During his speech on the second night of Ashura, Sheikh Qassem said "you all know that the Arab movements have prevailed, and frankly we say that we support these movements. We are with the Egyptian example, because Egypt moved willing fully and toppled the Tyrant Husni Mubarak. The people of Egypt were defiant. On the other and we do not support the movements in Syria as it is an example of foreign intervention, which is crystal clear."
Sheikh Qassem considered that "the US today acts just like primitive tribes of the middle age that attack smaller tribes as it attacks and steals the goods of these."
Furthermore, Sheikh Qassem assured that the US espionage taking place in Lebanon is but a favor to "Israel", explaining that such a conclusion stems from the detailed given of agents and spies that serve "Israel", especially after ""Israel" failed in its war and became helpless.
"You all know very well that the 2006 July "Israeli" aggression on Lebanon was a US decision that was the result of US negotiations and talks," His Eminence stressed.
Sheikh Qassem also emphasized that Lebanon lives the experience of the golden formula of "resistance-army-people" that proved to be strong and for the sake of Lebanon, hence it will remain adherent to this formula.
He further went on to say "True it is that our choice is difficult and costing, but along with it comes victory, independence and dignity."
He finally concluded that Lebanon will face all current developments with wisdom, and condemned the ongoing "Israeli" aggressions and the daily violation of Lebanon's airspace.
