Minister Fneish: We Support Government, Fate of STL Funding to be Decided in Cabinet

Lebanese Minister of Administrative Development Mohammad Fneish referred that Wednesday's cabinet session in Baabda Palace has been scheduled.
After a meeting with Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Fneish clarified that his visit came in the framework of following up his ministry's affairs, excluding any claims that the "Change and Reform" Minister announced to boycott the government session.
Minister Fneish indicated that Prime Minister Mikati is still insistent on his stance regarding funding the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), and so is Hizbullah.
Regarding the possibility that the government would resign, Fneish noted, "We hope the government does not resign and that it continues its work and accomplishments".
He referred that the STL funding is discussed in the government, and therefore it will decide what will be its fate, and all parties should respect that decision.
Furthermore, he stressed that Hizbullah's minister will attend Wednesday's session.
Minister Fneish believed that the current government is the most efficient compared to any of the former ones, on the level of livelihood issues that directly affect each citizen.
"We agree on the livelihood file with the "Change and Reform" bloc, and we are working on achieving it through taking part in the government, this therefore calls for activating its work and not abandoning it", Minister Fneish confirmed.
