President Lahoud: Resistance Weapons, Principle Key Branch of Lebanon’s Power

Former Lebanese President Emile Lahoud confirmed that the "Great strategic choices [symbolized by the people, army, resistance equation, which represents the concept of power in Lebanon] are more powerful that to be conquered by a gambling political team."
"Therefore this makes the resistance weapons a principle key branch of Lebanon's power and immunity", former Lebanese President added.
He further added, "And so it the special relation with Syria, which is considered an implementation of the Taef Accord which stressed that Lebanon wouldn't become Syria's enemy, and won't target its president, army, and people through the schemes that aim at jeopardizing the resistance."
Moreover, President Lahoud believed that the paradox here lies when "the leader of the resistance [Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah] appeared among his people, although he is threatened by Lebanon's enemy and its sponsors and supporters, while others from the gambling team appeared on social networks to express their grudge, while being away from the people and their concerns.
Furthermore, Lahoud stressed before his visitors on the importance of "activating the governmental work in order to secure the people's need", further calling for "halting the severe political rhetoric that does not serve the livelihood issues."
On the Syrian level, President Lahoud affirmed that "the Arab League has turned out on its policy and pact, for it has become a team among conspirators against Syria, whose people support their president, army, and people, and refuse the foreign interference in their country's affairs."
